Dortmund - Two pillars of Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Guendogan and Marco Reus, getting close to a comeback after an injury. Both have appeared in the game U-23 although only one round.

Both players performed for 45 minutes with the U-23 Dortmund and a 2-0 win over Bochum. Guendogan even scored one of the two goals.

Guendogan action that has been absent during the past year because of problems in his back would have been anticipated. While the arrival of Reus who has not graze a month with an ankle injury can increase the sharpness on the front lines Die Borussen.

The recovery of both players has become a new hope for Dortmund is currently down. Juergen Klopp's side were temporarily scattered in position 13 German league standings with seven points from seven games.

Both predicted Guendogan and Reus was able to re-appear when Cologne Dortmund face next weekend. But sporting director Michael Zorc stated his team would not be too hasty.

"Both seem in very good condition. Especially if you remember how long Ilkay pulled from the ground," said Zorc.

"He seemed very comfortable with the ball, but this is a new test and a new play of the first half so we should not put too many interests first," he said as reported by Soccerway.
