Jakarta - Ryan Moore has made ​​sure to take part in the CIMB Classic in 2014. The defending champion claimed enthusiastically followed this tournament, which he described as one of the tournament favorites. 

CIMB Classic 2014 enters its fifth edition this year and will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 30 October-2 November next. This prestigious tournament prize money on offer a total of 7 million and 1.26 million of which will be taken home by the winner. 

A total of 78 golfers will participate in the CIMB Classic in 2014, with 60 of them coming from the PGA Tour, 10 from the Asian Tour, and 8 golfers representing the sponsor. 

Moore won the title last year after beating Gary Woodland in a playoff. Golfers United States is hoping to repeat the success this year. 

"I'm excited to go back there as a champion. I think it is something special in any event," said Moore. 

"It was my third win on the PGA Tour and I'm already 10 years career. So, it does not happen all the time. Certainly it is a special week," he added. 

In addition to Moore, a number of other well-known golfers will perform at the CIMB Classic in 2014. They include Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood. 

"They certainly are great players. They will come to try to win and start the season with a victory on the PGA Tour," said Moore. 

"But, playing professional golf at this level is not easy. All good players. Every player in a tournament can be a champion," he said.
