After last season's runner-up Serie A, Roma have the right to appear in the Champions League this season. In local competition, the Giallorossi will again try to break the domination of Juventus.
For the sake of smooth out their ambition, Rome had strengthened skuad by bringing in many new players. Despite losing Mehdi Benatia, they get Seydou Keita, Ashley Cole, Urby Emanuelson, Juan Iturbe, Kostas Manolas, Jose Holebas, Salih Ucan, Davide Astori, and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.
With a more formidable squad, Roma started the season very well. Rudi Garcia's side have won five Serie A and the Champions League.
"Everybody expects the same start as last season," Totti said on Football Italia.
"We will play in the big matches, we have a good team, the important players have come, and we have a competitive squad," he added.
"We want to achieve good results in European competition and we will do our best. Supporters and journalists also want great Rome," said the 38-year attacker.
Roma Totti expect the positive trend will continue in all competitions and his team will lift the trophy at the end of season three.
"Our target? Scudetto, Champions League, Coppa Italia as well, which did not seem too important, but it's still a competition which gave the trophy," he said.
