Paris - Barcelona may not be the last club Lionel Messi. For 27 years it was believed footballer will finish career at his boyhood club in Argentina, Newell's Old Boys.

Messi has been since the age of 13 years in Barcelona and studied at La Masia to become a great footballer like today. 15 years is a short time for a player to be at one club only.

So naturally, with what has been achieved at this time, many are calling Messi needed a new challenge and some time ago, Manchester City and Paris St-Germain, was interested in bring it before the news was denied.

Does this mean that Messi will actually retire at Barca as was said? According to former colleagues in the national team of Argentina, Gabriel Heinze, Messi would not do it there, but at Newell's.

Newell's own childhood Messi is the club where he first learned to play football in the years 1995 to 2000 had been so Messi was born in Rosario, a city where Newell's settled.

Arguably retired in Newell's going to be a sweet cover for Messi's career.

"Messi will retire at Newell's and no longer need to ask him about it," said Heinze to Marca.

"I do not think he'll play in other Argentine club Newell's and besides he will retire at Newell's," he continued.

"I had played a few games in Argentina and initially never thought would retire there."

"But the last two years with Newell's Old Boys is the best moment of my life," he concluded.

Heinze himself retired this year after he had two seasons strengthen Newell's from 2012 to 2014, which is also the first club in his career.
