Milan - Serie A clubs are ensured to get a decent extra income from broadcasting rights of their games on television, because its value has increased. 

Reported by Reuters, the company MP & Silva won the auction Serie A broadcast rights to the next three seasons, with the price of 557 million euros. The figure was almost 60% higher than the previous auction. 

MP & Silva, who has been managing and distributing international broadcasting rights (international rights) Serie A since 2004, will continue the business of the season 2015/2016 until 2017/2018. In auctions they beat two competitors, IMG and B4Capital. 

"With the international reach and commercial strengths that we have, we will continue to provide the Lega Serie A a clear clarity. Sport has the potential to bring a lot of mass, and we're glad to be part of the growth of one of the most famous league in the world," said Riccardo Silva , founding partner of MP & Silva on his official website. 

With the cooperation contract, the Serie A clubs will get the estimated approximately 186 million euro (Rp 2.8 trillion) per year. Income will be very helpful especially clubs experiencing financial difficulties, which is caused by several factors including the decline in the number of spectators in the stadium. 

As for game broadcasts in the country, beneficially owned and company-owned Sky Italia, the big boss of AC Milan, Silvio Berlusconi, that Mediaset. Their contract for 3 years was 2.8 billion euros.
